We are a nonprofit team focused on educating girls.
Established in 2018 Bandar and Bhaaloo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide funding for the high school education of girls in India.
We care for the environment.
All Bandar and Bhaaloo animals are created from donated saris (or other Indian clothing) and sewn by volunteers in the United States.
We stay lean to optimize our impact.
We are an all volunteer organization so our overhead is low. 100% of the proceeds from our unique animals go directly to educational partners in India for the express purpose of assisting girls who otherwise would not attend high school.
Why it Matters
High school education plays an important role in arming girls and women with the necessary knowledge, attitudes, and skills to make demonstrable, qualitative improvements to their lives. Selling just a few of our unique handmade animals can fund a girl's education for one year.
